A place a little like an abandoned saloon I once wrote about, where failed artists and wornout writers gather to sweep the dust out of their lives and try again.
The windows here don’t have glass. The wind comes through as it pleases. The floorboards are bleached by sun and salt, and the teal paint on the doorframe is hanging on the way old memories do — stubborn, chipped, still beautiful.

I write fictional stories built from a lifetime of — mistakes owned, love earned, ghosts remembered, and the quiet hope that someone out there feels the same way about life that I do.

Forever Alone
The Vietnam War cast a long shadow across the lives of many of the young men who served there. This experimental novel blends diary-like entries, poetry, and an innovative use of Texas slang. It chronicles the character's odyssey from Vietnam to West Texas to a six-year stay in Mexico to an unexpected reunion with a fellow soldier he hadn't seen since they served together in Vietnam.
